Status display & options for ongoing upload processes

The Import manager is a background tool that is automatically activated during every upload. It has two functions:

  • view status: track all ongoing upload processes in real time

  • edit upload: add files, delete packages or resolve conflicts

There are two views:

  • A reduced view at the bottom right of the footer for the current status

  • A separate pop-up window for further details and functions

You can open the Import manager pop-up by clicking on the status display in the footer during the upload process:


Import manager functions

In the pop-up window of the Import manager, you will find detailed status information as well as additional options for your ongoing upload processes:

Status display

  • Import package preview

    The preview shows up to four thumbnail views of the uploading files in a package. Additional files are displayed as a number.

  • Upload folder display

    The upload folder is displayed above each package. This lets you know where the files are being imported.

  • Status display

    Below the package, you can see the current status (e.g., "5 files waiting for import" or "Archive will be unpacked").

Options for ongoing uploads

  • Package menu:

    Click on the three-dot icon three-dot icon in the header of a package to perform the following actions:

    • file plus Add more files

    • trash can Delete import package

  • Green arrow:

    If you see a green arrow arrow in a green circle on a package, the upload has been interrupted and your action is required. Click on the arrow to open the collision handling or import tagging.

  • Cancel all uploads: Cancels all ongoing upload processes.

  • Resolve conflicts: E.g. in the case of damaged files.

  • Can I cancel individual uploads?
    Yes, you can delete individual or all upload packages at once. All files in the packages will be discarded and not imported.

  • Can I access the import manager at any time?
    No, the import manager can only be accessed while an upload is in progress or if a conflict has occurred during the upload.

  • Why can I only see four files per package?
    This is a preview. Additional files in the package are only displayed as a number.
