When uploading, copying, or moving files, the system automatically detects whether files with the same name already exist in the destination folder.
In this case, a notification window opens with the following options:
pop-up window for existing files during import
Collision options
Decide for each file in the list how the process should continue:
Replace: The new file replaces the existing file. The file name and metadata are retained.
Keep both: The new file is saved in addition. The file name of the new file is automatically assigned a number (e.g. "rocks_sunset.1.jpg").
Do not import: The new file is skipped.
Make a global decision
You can also make your decision for all files in the list at once:
Click on one of the options directly in the header (e.g. "Replace") to apply this option to all listed files.
Start the import by clicking on "Import all files".
