"Package with linked files" is a special download profile that packs a main file together with all associated linked files as a .zip package.
This profile is offered for downloading PowerPoint or InDesign files that reference additional resources such as images or fonts.
Like all other profiles, you can select the "Package with linked files" download profile from the download profile drop-down menu in the shopping cart or during quick download:

Download with linked files
If you want to download a file that has linked files, follow these steps:
Open the Files module.
Select a PowerPoint or InDesign file with linked files.
Open the detail view of the file.
Check the list of linked files in the filter area on the left to ensure all files are up to date.
Add the file to your shopping cart or use a tile's quick download button
.Select the "Package with linked files" profile as your download profile.
Start the download by clicking on "Download" or share the file via a download package or eTicket.
The system prepares the files as a .zip file in the background.
Once complete, the download starts automatically.

Technical notes
Requirements
The following requirements apply to ensure that linked files can be correctly identified and packaged:
InDesign or PowerPoint only: By default, the download profile is only suggested for InDesign documents (.indd, .idml) and PowerPoint files (pptx, .ppt, .pptm, .potx, .potm, .pot).
Usage of plugins: The InDesign document or PowerPoint file must have been processed with the InDesign plugin or PowerPoint plugin.
Up to date links: The links must be up to date. Links that have not been updated are marked with a yellow exclamation mark.
Please note
For file types other than InDesign or PowerPoint, this function can only be used with individual system customization.
Contents of the .zip package
The .zip package created by the system contains the following:
The main file (InDesign or PowerPoint)
All valid linked files
An automatically generated report (.txt) with the following information:
Creator of the download
Time of download
List of all links contained
List of fonts used (InDesign documents only)
Reference to linked files that were excluded due to usage restrictions
