Keyboard shortcuts let you perform actions directly from your keyboard. This saves time on repetitive tasks – such as saving, opening object or assigning ratings.
You can customize the shortcuts in your user profile so that they match the keyboard shortcuts you are used to from other applications:

There are two types of shortcuts in 4ALLPORTAL:
Global shortcuts: they work system-wide
Function-specific shortcuts: they apply only to specific functions
Please note
Some shortcuts depend on whether certain 4Apps are installed on your system.
New features may also introduce new shortcuts to the system.

Tips
Select multiple files to apply a star rating or color highlights simultaneously. Existing highlights will be overwritten.
If you edit notes for multiple files at the same time, existing notes may be overwritten.
The system will notify you when opening multiple notes if different notes exist.
Customize shortcuts
You can customize the keyboard shortcuts at any time:
Click your username in the top-right corner of the header and select "Profile".
Select the "Shortcuts" section.
All available shortcuts are displayed in a list.
Scroll to the desired shortcut or use the search function.
Click on a shortcut to edit it.
A pop-up window will open. Here, you can directly enter a new keyboard shortcut.
The new shortcut will be displayed in the window. You can change it as often as you like until it suits you.
Click Save.
The new keyboard shortcut is active immediately. You do not need to log in again.

Windows: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + a number 0-9 or a letter A-Z or the Enter key
MacOS: Ctrl + Option + Command + Shift + a number 0-9 or a letter A-Z or the Enter key
